Through the TechGen STEM program the BGCGCV is:

  • Expanding specialized STEM programming at all 9 club sites and at summer camps, exposing all participants to STEM skills through integration into current programming;
  • Engaging tech volunteers from the community to enhance offerings;
  • Strengthening professional development available to staff providing STEM skill-building activities at Clubs.

“This grant supports BGCGCV in building our capacity to measurably increase acquisition of 21 century skills for our youth,” stated Dr. Crystal N?one, President/CEO of the BGCGCV.

According to N?one, the BGCGCV will increase youth competencies in STEM measured through STEM interest, efficacy, and commitment metrics.
