Santa Paula Art Museum — New Fall Classes Are Now in Session!

This Week at the Museum
The end of summer has been a bit of a whirlwind here at the Santa Paula Art Museum, but in the best way possible. On August 10, the Museum held its annual art auction fundraiser, which saw 60 artworks sold to the highest bidders. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and to all those who participated in our Jessie Arms Botke raffle! A few days later, we visited weaver Michael Rohde in his studio to film him for the upcoming exhibit Beyond Function: Fiber, Wood and Clay, which will open September 21. Then, with school now back in session, we hosted a happy hour event for local educators to help them get to know the Museum’s ArtSPARK school tour program. We rounded out the weekend with a sold-out Landscape Bootcamp class led by award-winning painter Sharon Weaver. And we’re not even done with August…
