VENTURA — The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has debuted a redesigned website which gives the public access to the wide array of services and programs offered by the agency. The new website retains the vast amount of information on the previous site while adding many useful new features.
A new crime map allows users more options to research local crime information based on location, time, and reports. And, there is a new cold case page which gives the public the opportunity to provide information that may assist the Sheriff’s Office in solving a crime and bringing justice to victims. There are photo and video pages, and many resources for disaster preparedness.
The new Ventura County Sheriff website contains interactive features and provides the public with information in a more efficient and visually appealing format.
The new site can be found at www.venturasheriff.org. The previous website URL, www.VCSD.org will redirect users to the new website.
