Ventura County’s Medi-Cal Plan is Making it Easy for Members to Access Prescriptions and Transportation During the Fires
CAMARILLO — During the fires, Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) members can get their prescriptions filled, receive necessary oxygen, and have their transportation needs met.
The Plan, which has nearly 200,000 Medi-Cal members throughout Ventura County, has lifted restrictions on refills so that those who evacuated their homes without their medications can have their prescriptions filled. More information is available by calling the Plan’s pharmacy benefit manager, OptumRx, at 1-855-297-2870 / TTY 711.
Members who are without their oxygen tanks during the fire emergency will be able to receive replacements. For additional information regarding obtaining oxygen, members may call GCHP at 1-888-301-1228 / TTY 1-888-310-7347.
Transportation is also available through the Plan’s vendor, Ventura Transit System (VTS), for members who need it. The number for VTS is 1-855-628-7433.
GCHP members with additional questions can call 1-888-301-1228 / TTY 1-888-310-7347.
