SANTA BARBARA — Santa Barbara Humane Society is pleased to unveil a new logo with a contemporary color palette as we celebrate a new year.
“Since 1887, the Santa Barbara Humane Society has been a resource for animal advocacy and education,” said Peggy Langle, Santa Barbara Humane Society Executive Director. “Our new logo includes the old Beck Farmhouse, a landmark of early farm-life in Goleta. With this logo we hope to capture our legacy of service to the community and to honor the history of the Goleta Valley, while embracing a new era of progressive sheltering practice.”
The Santa Barbara Humane Society has been implementing new programs over the past year to reflect progressive changes to animal welfare policies, including a foster program, additional kennel enrichment for the animals, dog playgroups, and an open adoption policy.
Later this month, the Santa Barbara Humane Society will launch a new website, tailored to fit the needs of current and prospective pet owners who trust Santa Barbara Humane Society for the best pet resources and information, while integrating the online adoption experience.
