> The Maritime Advanced Systems & Technology (MAST) will hold an open house and technology expo starting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 10 at the Port of Hueneme, 333 Ponoma St., Port Hueneme.
MAST fosters leading-edge technological innovation and integration in a port and maritime environment, organizers of the event reported in a media release.
The MAST lab joins a federated network of leading academic, research, test and evaluation, in-service engineering and operational centers to further expand the region’s ability to provide solutions to national security challenges.
The program, panel and exercises portion of the event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by an evening mixer from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
