SANTA BARBARA — The 14th annual Flamenco Arts Festival will feature prominent Spanish artist Manuel Liñán and his production of Nómada (Nomad), with a pre-concert talk from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at The Granada Theatre, 214 State St., Santa Barbara.
Liñán, a highly celebrated virtuoso of flamenco, and his ten member company of dancers, singers and guitarists will take to the Granada stage with a presentation that seeks to demonstrate how the dynamic patterns and rhythms of human migration have forever changed the human landscape — and in particular, the world’s cultural arts.
“Join us at the Granada for a thrilling and thought-provoking evening for purists and fans of new flamenco alike,” festival organizers reported in a media release.
The Flamenco Arts Festival 2014 After Party will be held from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Open to concert ticket holders.
