Tito Puente Jr. to kick off Oxnard Salsa Festival entertainment on July 26

OXNARD — Tito Puente Jr. will kick off the Oxnard Salsa Festival’s line up of entertainment with a Friday Night Concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 26 at Oxnard Plaza Park, 500 So. C St., Oxnard. The son of Tito Puente, known as the ‘Mambo King,’ Tito Puente Jr. continues his father’s legacy with his incredible music, accompanied by his 11-­piece big band.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 per person for concert seating and $120 for reserved tables of six.

The Oxnard Salsa Festival, July 27-28, will feature such performers as Fay Roberts and Orquestra Charangoa, Son Mayor, Raumbache, Orquesta Tabaco y Ron, Angel Lebron y Sabor Latino.
