THOUSAND OAKS — Local youth in grades 4-8 are invited to audition for an upcoming performance with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, “Broadway Show Choir”. Auditions will be held on Thursday, September 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Johnston Boys & Girls Club, located at 1450 E. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
Rehearsals will take place September 12 through November 15 and the performance will be held on Friday, November 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Johnston Boys & Girls Club.
The program is free to after-school club members of the Boys & Girls Club, and $100 for non-members. Participants are asked to make a reservation for the audition and come prepared with a song. Wi-Fi and mp3 players are available. Karaoke or a cappella are also accepted. For those who cannot make the audition, the Boys & Girls Clubs will accept a YouTube link which can be emailed to: jcisneros@bgcconejo.org.
