Greetings from Margaret Cortese!

As you probably know Teatro has its own home at 321 W. 6^th Street in downtown Oxnard. We continue to be very grateful to Pablo García and his construction company which did a great job of converting a building that had been empty for 10 years into a small and intimate Teatro space. We are happy to be here and are getting very active, especially as the COVID pandemic is coming under control. You will be receiving announcements about all the activities soon, if not already.

There are several volunteer opportunities:

It would be lovely to have flowers on the east side of the building. Any gardeners interested? There will be a small budget for it.

Individual donations and business sponsorships are particularly welcome now as we are bringing productions and classes to you.

Moreover;

As your Artistic Director, I am in the process of choosing productions for the rest of the 2021 season;

The Teatro Board will be engaging in a strategic planning session in July that will include revisiting and possibly revising the Mission and Vision statements as well as the plan for the next few years. If you have ideas for our future call or text me at 805-231-0127

Es probable que ya sepan que el Teatro tiene su propia casa en el 321 W. 6^th Street en el centro de Oxnard. Seguimos muy agradecidos con Pablo García y su compañía de construcción, la cual hizo un excelente trabajo convirtiendo un edificio abandonado desde hace 10 años a un Teatro chico e íntimo. Estamos trabajando, ya que la pandemia de COVID se está controlando. Ya pronto recibirán anuncios de todas las actividades, si no es que ya las hayan recibido.

Tenemos varias oportunidades para voluntarios:

Sería bien chévere tener flores en el lado oriente del edificio. ?Se interesan algunos jardineros? Tenemos un pequeño presupuesto para eso.

Les damos la bienvenida a donativos de individuales y de negocios patrocinadores, especialmente que ahora ya tenemos producciones y clases. Se puede donar:

Como Directora Artística, estoy actualmente escogiendo obras para lo que queda de la temporada del 2021.

La Junta Directiva del Teatro tendrá una reunión de planeamiento estratégico este mes que incluirá revisar y posiblemente cambiar la Misión, la Visión, y el plan para los próximos años. Si tiene ideas para nuestro futuro llame o mándeme text al 805-231-0127
