CALM group therapy 12 week series starting September 19 to address domestic violence issues for kids
SANTA MARIA — To provide support for children who have been exposed to domestic violence, Our County. Our Kids, a program of Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services, will host a 12 week series with CALM starting on September 19 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The purpose of the group is to provide psycho-education to children ages 8 to 11 about domestic violence, safety planning, teach coping skills, communication skills, empowerment and support to reduce psychological distress related to domestic violence trauma.
