‘SEA’ What’s exciting & new In 2026 at Ventura Harbor Village

New Dining & Retail Experiences Bring Fresh Energy, Flavor & Fun

To Sun-Kissed Seaside Destination

VENTURA — Ventura Harbor Village announces a wave of new visitor amenities in 2026. Situated just off scenic Highway 1 and the 101 freeway, the waterfront destination invites locals and travelers alike to take in the views and soak up the waterfront lifestyle with expanded dining, new artsy retailers and wine releases, beauty collaborations and more, making Ventura Harbor Village a must-visit coastal hotspot.

“These exciting additions reflect the spirit of Ventura Harbor Village – creative, welcoming, and deeply connected to the coastal experience,” said Brian Pendleton, Ventura Port District General Manager. “In 2026, we’re delighted to offer even more ways for guests to eat, sip, relax, and enjoy the Harbor seaside.”

A Feel Good Space: Golden Hour Goods

Golden Hour Goods, the newest retail shop in Ventura Harbor Village, is an innovative, “feel-good” space where creativity shines and customers can support local artists. The business is redefining the seaside shopping experience with handmade treasures, ethically-designed goods, and a strong sense of community that values creativity, connection and sustainability. Founded by Nathalie Swader, a jewelry designer from Germany who followed her heart – and her California dreams to Ventura, the seaside shop celebrates other small businesses that lead with intention. Featured is a thoughtfully curated collection from 40 local makers (most of them women-owned small businesses.)  The retail store places a spotlight on handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, art, candles, quilts, upcycled apparel each made with care and purpose. The result is a space that feels personal, joyful, and deeply human – a place where every item has a story.

Often described as a “real-life Etsy,” the shop offers the charm of discovering one-of-a-kind finds that are not seen elsewhere, paired with laid-back harbor vibes. It brings a fresh artistic dimension to Ventura Harbor Village’s already diverse merchant and gallery lineup, inviting visitors and locals alike to slow down, explore, and connect. The store is adding more to its artisanal shopping experience in 2026 with the debut of an ongoing series of workshops, including a Mermaid Paint Night, Stained Glass, Beginner’s Crochet, Pour & Sip Candle Making, an Ocean Scene Paint Night, and Sea Glass Jewelry during March 2026.

A Salute to The Sea: New Wine Releases At Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room

Wine lovers can now re-discover Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room, a relaxed, yet sophisticated space with an enticing choice of indoor seating or an outdoor patio. The Conway siblings, John, Gilian and Tom, of Conway Family Wines have been crafting exceptional wines since 2007. This harbor-side spot, with a maritime vibe, is the perfect destination to sip with a water view.

New in 2026 are two new wine releases, including Poppy’s Rescue Red Santa Barbara County, a lively blend of red plum, raspberry, and strawberry flavors that’ll have palates jumping for joy!  The new wine is crafted with love in honor of the winery’s VIP (very important pooch), Poppy, and all her furry rescue pals spreading sunshine in their forever homes. For every bottle sold, the Winery will donate a dollar to the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL). The Grüner Veltliner Fiddlestix Vineyard Santa Rita Hills is another new release that is fermented and aged in neutral French Oak barrels for four months. Left unfiltered to preserve the unique flavors in the wine, it blends tastes reminiscent of Granny Smith apples, nectarine, white gummy bears, and apricots.

As part of a one-of-a-kind wine experience, wine lovers can choose from handcrafted Deep Sea and Conway wines, available by the glass, or in one of their curated signature or reserve tasting flights. An elevated experience is in store for guests who opt to pair wine selections with artisanal cheeses or decadent chocolates for a flavorful journey that’s truly unforgettable. Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room delivers on all fronts – great wine, coastal charm, fun events and wine happenings, and an ambiance that’s as welcoming as it is stylish.
