Coming up this Wednesday, February 7, we will host a special OC LIVE film screening. We are showing SEED: The Untold Story in the Performing Arts Building, with discussion led by OC Professor of Sociology Dolores Ortiz. Please support the Social Science department.
Seed: The Untold Story is about the dramatic loss of seed varieties in the world today and the work of passionate seed keepers trying to stem the tide and save our 12,000 year old food legacy. Watch Film Trailer Here:
Attached is a flyer for the event as well as a DISCUSSION GUIDE made up by Dr. Rainer Mack(Art History) and Dolores Ortiz (Sociology) for all faculty to use. The discussion guide includes several different perspectives and ideas. Please review the attached documents and reach out to Dr. Mack if you have questions.
Remember, OC LIVE is for the college. It is meant to inspire, delight, and inform. We hope you come to the screening & discussion, promote it to our students, and use it in your student work!
