May 1, 2 — Lumina Nights Returns for Two Nights Only in SLO

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Lumina Alliance is thrilled to announce the return of the celebrated local tradition Lumina Nights Dancing with Our Stars, a two-night celebration featuring dancing, music, entertainment, great food, local wine and beer, exciting auction items, a live dance competition starring community leaders, and unforgettable moments that bring people together in support of local survivors. The gala takes place May 1 and 2, 2026, at the brand-new Vina Robles tasting room on Ramada Drive in Paso Robles.

This year’s STAR dancers include former KSBY anchor Jeanette Trompeter, Kris Beal of the Paso Robles City Council, Heather Muran from REACH, Ryan Blevins of T-Mobile, Joel Peterson of Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, and Bruce Gibson serving as District 2 Supervisor. These community leaders are ready to light up the dance floor and bring SLO County together for two extraordinary nights.

This year’s theme, Illuminate, reflects both the way our dancers light up the stage with their talent and community pride and the way this event brings visibility to abuses too often kept in the dark, helping illuminate a path toward healing for survivors.

Returning as Artistic Director is Paso Robles native Doriana Sanchez, a choreographer known for her work with Cher and her performance in the hit 1987 film, Dirty Dancing.

Lumina Alliance CEO Jennifer Adams shared her excitement for the event. “Last year we sold out in a few short weeks because of the incredible support from our community,” Adams said. “This year we have only a limited number of individual tickets and the community support we have seen, especially as we anticipate federal funding cuts, has been inspiring and life-sustaining. We know we will sell out fast again—so grab those tickets now! We can’t wait to see you!”

Tickets went on sale at midnight on January 1, 2026. Guests can sponsor a favorite dancer, reserve a table, or sponsor the entire event by visiting LuminaNights.org
