CAMARILLO — Join the Meadowlark Service League (Meadowlark) at Las Posas Country Club on Monday, March 18th, for their annual Spring Charity Luncheon, accompanied by a Tennis and Pickleball Tournament, as well as Silent and Live Auctions. The on-site Boutique features a great variety of vendors and is open to the public at no cost.
The Meadowlark members are working hard to create opportunities to raise funds that benefit the many charities that our events support. The Charity Luncheon event has been held annually for over 25 years. It is anticipated by the women in our community as a fun day to visit with friends and support the community too.
The tennis and pickleball tournament will be a women’s doubles with partner round-robin tournament played at Spanish Hills, Las Posas Country Club courts and other courts, from 8:30 to 11:30 am. To participate, players must pre-register online with a partner at meadowlarkserviceleague.org. The luncheon will be held from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, with registration for the luncheon only available on the Meadowlark website as well. For those looking to shop at the Boutique and participate in the Silent Auction, the doors are open to the public from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm with no fee or reservation required. Sponsorships are available as outlined on the Meadowlark website – reserve a Champagne Table for you and your friends!
Meadowlarks will host two major fundraisers this year. The upcoming Charity Luncheon and Tennis/Pickleball Tournament and “A Taste of Camarillo” Wine, Brew & Food Festival on Sunday, July 28th. In June 2023, Meadowlark Service League was able to grant $315K to 32 local Ventura County charities and 20 scholarships to new and continuing college students.
