VENTURA — The Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association and the County of Ventura Wellness Program are teaming up to host the ‘Taste of Wellness Fair’ on Tuesday, July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Avenue, Lot ‘G’.
The event will feature a one-day Farmers’ Market, healthy recipes, gardening tips from a master gardener, information on sustainability, giveaways and music! Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable bags, coolers and cash.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to learn about healthy eating and obtain fresh produce while enjoying a fun day,” stated Karen Schott, Operations Manager for the Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association.
