Dear San Luis Obispo County Housing Supporters,
In just under one week, on Tuesday April 23, the San Luis Obispo County Supervisors will vote on the Dana Reserve project and your commitment to bringing more affordable housing to the Central Coast has never been more critical.
You can affect the decision: Please let our elected officials know how important affordable housing is to the County. This will be a great opportunity for you to thank them for their hard work, and to help them make the bold and balanced decisions needed.
Located west of US Highway 101 in Nipomo, and named the Dana Reserve, the overall project includes deed-restricted affordable housing that would be developed and operated by People’s Self-Help Housing. If approved, the developer will gift this land, which will bring much-needed affordable housing for Nipomo, a welcoming community that is key to so many who live, work, and recreate along the Central Coast.
Take immediate action: Continue sending your letters of support to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors at boardofsups@co.slo.ca.us. Your relentless advocacy is vital in reinforcing our collective demand for increased housing. As the decision day approaches, it’s imperative to demonstrate our strong and unwavering commitment.
Share with others: Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to learn about the Dana Reserve and to make their opinions known to. Every additional voice and viewpoint adds positively to the decision making process.
Attend the meeting:
- Join the meeting on Tuesday April 23 at the Katcho Achadjian Government Center, 1055 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo
