Casual Cajun Seafood Establishment Brings Unique Family Dining Concept to The Collection at RiverPark

OXNARD — Captain’s Cajun Boil, a casual seafood dining establishment that combines home-style boil options with distinctive Cajun flavors, is now open at The Collection at RiverPark.

Brought to the California coast by owner and restauranteur Joe Zhou, foodies can pair an array of fresh seafood options with a variety of renowned brew selections from local craft brewers, such as Institution Ale Co. and MadeWest Brewing Co.

“The Collection at RiverPark is the ideal location for Captain’s Cajun Boil because of its unique eatery concepts,” said Zhou. “Our mission is to provide customers with a fun and unique way to experience seafood boil in Ventura County. Our dishes add a flavor of diversity to the many experiences guests can find at The Collection.”

Captain’s Cajun Boil believes in blending responsibly sourced seafood, herbs and spices to provide customers with an unmatched California take on a traditionally southern dish. The family-friendly and casual seafood concept welcomes messy eaters to crack their own freshly steamed seafood with the assistance of tools and bibs.

“Captain’s Cajun Boil is the first of its kind to be offered to guests at The Collection at RiverPark,” said Jill Almonia, Marketing Manager of The Collection at RiverPark. “The southern boil concept is ideal for families and friends looking to combine quality time with dishes meant for sharing.”

Foodies can taste Captain’s Cajun Boil’s flavorsome offerings at The Collection at RiverPark on Town Center Drive, across from Whole Foods Market. Check out Captain’s Cajun Boil on Instagram and Facebook @captainscajunboil
