CONEJO VALLEY — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley recently held its annual Superstars of the Year Celebration which recognizes local youth and volunteers who have made a contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
The Youth of the Year winners were awarded in two categories. Annette Gonzalez, age 13 and 8th grade student at Sequoia Middle School won the 13 years old and younger category and Ava Crosby, age 17 and junior at Westlake High School, took home top honors for the age 14 and older category.
The afternoon celebration included performances by Boys & Girls Clubs members in addition to a special guest performance by Dalton Cyr, an award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist actor.
