Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley Announce Newest Member to Board of Governors

AGOURA – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is pleased to announce a new member to its Board of Governors, Erick Thorson.

Thorson is currently President of Thorson Insurance where he manages two separate brokerages – Thorson Insurance Services and OWM Insurance Services.  He also serves on the board for PrimeOne Insurance Company and oversees the sales and retail departments.

Besides his successful insurance business, he also has a passion for golf and was a Division 1 golf athlete at the University of Berkeley in addition to touring professionally for two years.

Coming from a home who instilled the importance of giving back, Thorson especially believes in fostering the youth of today and brings a skill set to the Boys & Girls Clubs Board of Governors which helps support their mission.

“Being part of an organization that assists in helping children reach their full potential completely fulfills my philanthropic goals and enables me to give back to my community in the best possible way,” stated Thorson.

Thorson is a graduate of Oaks Christian High School and holds a B.A. in American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
