AGOURA – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is pleased to announce a new member to its Board of Governors, Michael Tiemeyer.
Tiemeyer has worked as an executive in multiple industries including banking, financial services, health care, information technology, marketing & advertising and retail. Known as an “Exceeds Expectations” executive, Tiemeyer has achieved measurable results during his tenure.
Currently, he serves as a Financial Services Executive Consultant based in Thousand Oaks. Prior to that, he held the position of Risk Management Executive for California Coast Credit Union in San Diego. His background also includes several high-ranking positions for Bank of America (BAC)/Merrill Lynch in Thousand Oaks. There, he worked in a myriad of operational roles to help lead the firm through the financial crisis of the past decade.
In addition, Tiemeyer served as Sr. Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer for Countrywide Bank in Thousand Oaks and held executive positions at Health Net in Los Angeles and The Marcus Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also served as a board member for several for-profit organizations including Landsafe Title Corporation, Bank of America Tax Services Corporation, Countrywide International Technology Holdings, Ltd., and served on the Executive Council for Experian’s Data Quality Board.
Besides his work with the Boys & Girls Clubs, Tiemeyer has served a number of other non-profit organizations including The American Red Cross, The United Way and Verdigris Home Owner’s Association.
