A Casting Notice and a Note from Margaret
Merino Productions is a Multilingual Solutions Agency based in Ventura County with a national and international curriculum in video productions, voice-overs and document translations.
Our experience with local government agencies, has shown a need to raise awareness on multiple subjects such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, drunk driving, drug addiction, personal growth and multicultural awareness.
Merino Productions has decided to start a new community awareness program on all these matters and will be volunteering hours to create a series of on-going bilingual (English and Spanish) videos. We are looking for volunteer actors and actresses of all ages to help us create these video messages.
Merino will work on producing real life dramatizations in partnership with  local government agencies to be published on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Actors will be named in the credits and will be exposed to the world wide web with the possibility  of working with Merino on paid gigs or as an on-camera talent.
Interested talent MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH and
are required to send a resume or bio with contact information/ experience, and a most recent head shot/ close up photo for casting purposes. Resumes/bios without a photo will not be considered.

Nuestro teatro sigue adaptándose a las restricciones que nos impone el Covid.  Muchos de Uds. han asistido via Zoom a las Pláticas;
lLas seguiremos presentando. Las clases de actuación para niños con Alina Ceñal también siguen. Me dicen que los chicos se están divirtiendo muchísimo. Por lo pronto no hay clases de actuación para adultos, pero James Donlon está planeando una nueva versión, probable para enero. Ya pronto también tendremos en película algunas obras para su deleite.

It has been a while since I have sent a message. Today there are two messages.
Above is a casting notice from Jesús Merino, who worked with us a few years ago.
Our Teatro continues to adapt itself to the Covid restrictions. Many of you tuned in via Zoom to our Pláticas/Conversations; there will be more coming your way. The acting classes for children with Alina Ceñal continue. I hear the children are having a great time. For now there aren’t classes for adults, but James Donlon is planning a new version for January. Soon we will upload some productions for your viewing pleasure.
