THOUSAND OAKS — Michelle Ascencion, Ventura County Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters, has announced the expansion of services at the Clerk and Recorder East County Office in Thousand Oaks.
Along with the existing services typically provided by the County Clerk – including vital records, marriage licenses and ceremonies, and fictitious business names – County Recorder services are also now available. Customers will now be able to record deeds, mortgage documents, and court decrees at the Thousand Oaks office, as well as file California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents such as environmental impact reports, mitigated negative declarations, notices of determination/exemption, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife receipts.
“Before the East County office opened, customers had to go to the Government Center in Ventura for service,” said Clerk-Recorder Ascencion. “Our previous County Clerk-Recorder, Mark Lunn, established a satellite office in Thousand Oaks more than 10 years ago to better serve East County customers. With the growing popularity of the East County location, we have added staff and resources to now offer those customers our full suite of Clerk and Recorder services.”
The Clerk and Recorder East County office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and alternate Fridays 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It is located at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Nuevos Servicios Anunciados en la Oficina del Secretario y Registrador del Condado de Ventura en Thousand Oaks
THOUSAND OAKS – – Michelle Ascencion, Secretaria-Registradora del Condado de Ventura y Registradora de Votantes, ha anunciado la expansión de los servicios en la Oficina del Secretario y Registrador del Este del Condado en Thousand Oaks.
Junto con los servicios existentes que normalmente proporciona el Secretario del Condado, incluidos los registros vitales, las licencias y ceremonias de matrimonio y los nombres comerciales ficticios, ahora también están disponibles los servicios del Registrador del Condado. Los clientes ahora podrán registrar escrituras, documentos hipotecarios y decretos judiciales en la oficina de Thousand Oaks, así como presentar documentos de la Ley de Calidad Ambiental de California (CEQA), como informes de impacto ambiental, declaraciones negativas mitigadas, avisos de determinación/exención y recibos del Departamento de Pesca y Vida Silvestre de California.
