VENTURA COUNTY — The West Ventura County Business Alliance (WVCBA) announces (Dec. 17) that longtime President & CEO Nancy Lindholm will transition from her role on January 1, 2025.

Lindholm will continue working part-time as Chief Financial Officer before officially retiring from the organization in December 2025. WVCBA Chief Operating Officer Andy Conli has been selected by the Board of Directors as the new President & CEO.

Lindholm has led the organization for more than 20 years. She was hired in February 2004 as President & CEO of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and continued in the role when the Oxnard and Camarillo chambers of commerce united in 2021 to form the WVCBA.

Lindholm has been a fierce advocate for the business community and an ardent supporter of business-friendly candidates and policies at all levels of government. She has taken positions on hundreds of legislative issues and testified at countless City Council and County Board of Supervisors meetings, as well as to lawmakers at the California State Capitol. She also navigated the chamber through major economic downturns resulting from the 2009 recession and the COVID-19 pandemic.

“For the past two decades, I’ve been fortunate to lead this organization and work alongside dedicated staff, volunteers, and Board members to create a stronger, vibrant business community,” says Lindholm. “I am confident that WVCBA’s incredible Board and staff will continue to experience success as they move forward.

Prior to the Oxnard Chamber, Lindholm was Executive Director of the Regional Legislative Alliance of Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties, and a small business owner. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Ventura and Camarillo chambers of commerce, and was the 2017 recipient of the Camarillo Chamber’s Ken Cunningham Award.

During her tenure, the organization received the President’s Circle Award from the California Chamber of Commerce 15 times for excellence in business advocacy. Lindholm also served as Chair of the Board of the Western Association of Chamber Executives and was on the Board of Directors of the California Chamber of Commerce.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Nancy Lindholm for her more than two decades of leadership as the President & CEO of the West Ventura County Business Alliance and its predecessor the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce,” says WVCBA Board Chair Andrew Kiefer. “Her unwavering dedication to our organization has been instrumental in propelling our mission forward, fostering economic growth, and building strong partnerships within our communities.”

Kiefer continues, “Nancy has been a driving force in building bridges between businesses and local government, ensuring a legacy of collaboration and innovation. On behalf of the entire Alliance, I wish her the very best in their well-deserved retirement.”
