Westminster Free Clinic and Care Center announces funding of $1.5M from the State of California to support their programs and services

OXNARD — Westminster Free Clinic and Care Center received funding of $1.5M from the State of California to support their programs and services. Budget request was made by Assemblymember. Steve Bennett. 

The presentation of the ceremonial check was held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Oxnard.

Attending the event with Bennett were Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, State Sen. Monique Limón and County of Ventura, Supervisor Vianey Lopez, along with the Oxnard USD, Port Hueneme USD.

— Westminster Community Care Center, founded in 1994 as Westminster Free Clinic (WFC), is a grass roots health care provider that is driven and empowered by volunteers. It offers basic non-invasive health, mental health, dental and vision care, at or near locations where large numbers of uninsured people live or are marginally housed.
