OXNARD — The West Ventura County Business Alliance (WVCBA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with the City of Port Hueneme. Through the partnership, WVCBA will help promote Port Hueneme businesses and City initiatives, host networking events and business forums in the community, and provide advocacy on issues that affect local employers.
“Having many of the larger businesses in Port Hueneme already as WVCBA members, we’re excited to introduce ourselves the business community as a whole and be a resource for them, as well as establishing a deeper connection with the City of Port Hueneme,” says WVCBA President & CEO Andy Conli. “Not only does this partnership expand our reach, it reinforces our position as advocates for the business community and regional economy.”
In turn, the City of Port Hueneme will work with WVCBA to connect Port Hueneme businesses to these opportunities and help strengthen the local economy.
“This partnership matters for our community because it will give Port Hueneme businesses a stronger regional voice and more tools to grow and succeed,” says City Manager James Vega.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in February in Port Hueneme to celebrate the partnership. Port Hueneme business owners and community members who would like to learn more about WVCBA or explore membership and engagement opportunities are encouraged to visit www.wvcba.org or call the office at (805) 738-9100.
