Tiffany Lopez reports that volunteers are still needed for the annual Boys & Girls Clubs “Day for Kids” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Boys & Girls Club Martin V. Smith Youth Center, 1900 W. Fifth St., Oxnard.
The free celebration for the entire family includes free BGCOP membership, free health clinic with free TDAP shots, games, petting zoo, arts & crafts, Jolly Jumps, food and live music.
Volunteers are needed for the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. shifts.
