Austin Bantam Society Annual Car Show
Saturday, October 5, 2024, 10 AM – 3 PM:
Classic car lovers won’t want to miss this charming display of vintage vehicles from the late 1930s to early 1940s. Get up close to a stunning collection of more than a dozen Bantam automobiles, presented by American Austin and English Austin enthusiasts. Free entry and parking. Details here.

  

Hispanic Heritage Month Courtyard Concert
Saturday, October 5, 2024, 1 – 4 PM:

In salute to Hispanic Heritage Month, local pianist Ruben Estrada of the well known Estrada Brothers, and the talented backup band that comprises of the talented Martinez Brothers, join together to perform live music for music lovers near and far as they play Salsa and Latin Jazz in the Channel Islands Courtyard at Ventura Harbor Village. In celebration of this Heritage Month, visitors can enjoy authentic and favorite Spanish and Mexican entrees and specialty dishes at both Baja Bay Surf N’Taco and Margarita Villa. More info

Electric Vehicle Showcase                                                                                                                                            

Sunday, October 6, 2024, Noon – 4:30 PM:
In honor of National Drive Electric Week, head to Ventura Harbor Village’s Main Lawn for an amazing showcase of electric vehicles.  On display will be cars, vans, SUV’s, trucks, bikes and other electric equipment, even vintage EV conversions. Car owners have years of EV ownership, are enthusiastic and willing to discuss their experience, and answer questions about owning an EV.  Nissan Leaf, VW ID.4, Tesla Model 5,3,X, Y, Chevy Bolt & Volt, Hyundai Ioniq6, Kia EV6, Rivian RIT, Ford Lighting, Lucid Air are just some vehicles car enthusiasts can expect to see!  Sponsored by the Santa Barbara – Ventura Chapter of the Sierra Club and the Clean Power Alliance, the event is produced by the EV Advocates of Ventura County.   Free entry and parking.  Event details here, and for registration see www.driveelectricweek.org/3582

Witches Paddle
Friday, October 25, 2024, 4 – 5:30 PM:
Don your witch hats and grab a paddle! This whimsical Halloween paddle invites witches and warlocks to glide along Ventura Harbor by paddleboard or kayak. Now in its sixth year, this magical tradition (initiated by two local ladies Christie Moorehouse and Susan Stuart) has grown into a highly anticipated community event. Saturday, October 26, 2024, Noon – 2 PM:
Paws up for Ventura Harbor’s beloved dog costume contest! From spooky pups to sea-worthy pooches, contestants will vie for top prizes including Best in Show and Most Creative. Thriller Zombie Dance
Sunday, October 27, 2024, 2:15 PM:
