Ventura County Real Estate Services Employees Recognized inInternational Right of Way Association
VENTURA COUNTY — Three employees from Ventura County Public Works Agency’s Real Estate Services (RES) have been recognized by the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) for their commitment to helping members of the community.
IRWA is a professional member organization comprised of global infrastructure real estate practitioners, with a mission to improve people’s quality of life through infrastructure development.
Through their participation and involvement as professional members of California Central Coast Chapter 47, Charles Alvarez, manager of Real Estate Services Division, is the chapter’s Immediate Past President from 2017-2019 as well as serving International Voting Director. In addition, Dave Jackson, Senior Real Property Agent for the Central Services Department was recently elected as the new Vice President and Valeria Lopez, Real Property Agent for RES, is the Chapter Treasurer. She was also awarded the Young Professional of the Year Award.
“We are thrilled to have our own employees be involved with the International Right of Way Association,” said Joan Araujo, Director of Central Services. “Their high ethical standards, commitment to integrity and professional excellence blend seamlessly into the mission of VCPWA.”
Participants from both the public and private sector in Ventura County, Santa Barbara and SLO are members of the California Central Coast Chapter 47.
RES is a division of the Ventura County Public Works Agency (VCPWA) Central Services Department, who are committed to providing efficient, responsive, and cost-effective services to all Public Works Agency (PWA) departments.
