Ventura County Education Leaders Endorse Carla Castilla For 3rd District Supervisor

Carla CastillaCAMARILLO – Dr. Mark Lisagor, current President of the Ventura County Board of Education; Christina (Tina) Urias, Santa Paula Unified School District Board Member; Bob Rust, Pleasant Valley School District Board Member, announced their support of Carla Castilla to succeed retiring 3rd District Supervisor Kathy Long. The Castilla campaign has built a diverse coalition of Education Leaders, Nurses, Firefighters, and Law Enforcement.

“I am endorsing Carla Castilla because like Supervisor Long, she is deeply committed to issues that impact Ventura County children and families,” said Dr. Mark Lisagor, President of the Ventura County Board of Education. “Carla has been working to ensure that kids have equal access to technology, STEM focused curriculum and education in high demand fields to train the workforce of the future. I am convinced Carla will continue to be a strong advocate for our students and schools in our community.”
