Happy Homeownership Month!

June is a special month at VCCDC! We celebrate National Homeownership Month! At the core of our mission is the belief that a home is more than a place to live. It is the cornerstone of any individual’s and family’s economic, environmental and social well being. For the past 22 years we have worked to advance affordable homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income families through our programs, services and advocacy. Challenges such as rising home prices and interest rates can prevent families from accessing the benefits of homeownership. VCCDC continues to address these challenges head-on by providing high quality education and financial coaching services, awarding funds for down payment assistance to low- and moderate-income families (currently up to $152,000), creating new homebuying assistance programs, partnering with municipalities and developers to create affordable homeownership, advocating for change at the local, state and federal level and more. Homeownership continues to be an important factor for building generational wealth and we are committed to continuing our work so that working families can achieve and preserve the dream of homeownership. California Mortgage Relief Application Event

Get in-person assistance with applying for the California Mortgage Relief Program which offers up to $80,000 in assistance for late mortgage payments, property tax payments, delinquent reverse mortgages and COVID related deferral/partial claims. All appointments have been scheduled however if there are no-shows we will assist walk-ins.

VCCDC’s Virtual Loan Center allows you to get instantly pre-qualified with VCCDC or one of our partner loan experts. This free mortgage prequalification will let you know roughly how much you can finance, based on basic financial data you provide (no financial documents nor credit check required).
