VENTURA COUNTY — Camarillo resident Rebeca Elliott, an agent with Comfort Real Estate, was installed at the 2025 President of the Ventura County Coastal Association at the annual Installation Event on Jan. 16 along with this year’s officers and directors.

Elliott has been a Realtor for over 20 years after serving as a flight attendant for United Airlines and the administrative assistant to the CEO of Tenet Health Care, which was then based in Santa Barbara.

“They decided to relocate to Texas and the CEO asked if I wanted to relocate as well, and I said no,” Elliott recalled. “Soon after, I saw an ad about getting a real estate license, and I thought that would be a fun career move. I passed the test, and here I am – loving it.”

Outgoing president Cami Pinsak, left, from Camarillo, passes the gavel to incoming president Rebeca Elliott.

Her goals include guiding VCCAR through a year of change as the board and officers recruit a new CEO and as agents continue to adjust to changes in the commission structure enacted last year.

Joining Elliot on the Executive Committee are President-Elect Jeri Becker, a broker with NextHome Pacific Coast Realty; First Vice President Walter Morris, an agent with Keller Williams; Treasurer Dawn Durazo, Broker-Owner with Beach View Real Estate; Immediate Past President Cami Pinsak, a broker with Realty ONE Group Summit; and Interim CEO/Secretary Robin Morris.

New directors for 2025 are Katie Connelly, an agent with Keller Williams West Ventura County; Juliet Esquibias, CEO at Keller Williams West Ventura County; Suzzi Koenig-Brown, an agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties; and Brian Zell, an agent with Real Broker, LLC.

Returning directors are Julio Gomez, broker/owner of Blue Sky Realty; Jana Scarborough, founding partner of Resource Real Estate; and Janet Sprissler, a broker with Rent 805. Cibeli Rocha, a sales executive with Fidelity National Title, returns as Affiliate Director; Carolyn Triebold, broker associate with Real Broker, LLC, serves as the Ex-Officio MLS Director, while Jennifer Felten is the designated broker and attorney at RELAW, APC.

VCCAR also presented four honorees with its annual awards.

  • Cynthia Gomez, owner of All Solutions TC, was named Affiliate of the Year for her willingness to help and her volunteer efforts.
  • Camille Morris, an agent with Keller Williams, was named Realtor of the Year for her leadership on the Events Workgroup and for spreading the “Realtors are good neighbors” message in the community.
  • Jorge DeLeon, a broker with Century 21 Real Estate Alliance, was selected as Broker/Owner/Manager of the Year for his outstanding service to VCCAR in many areas.
