Ventura County Arts Council — There’s Still Time (May 15) to Register! Ask the Artist Online Event

Please join us on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 p.m. for a special opportunity to ask questions and hear our REFLECT 2020 street view showcase artists discuss their work.

This event offers an occasion to hear local artists Josiah Guzik, Carlos Grasso, Belen Islas and Ksenia McEuen discuss the perspective, intent, process and background of their respective works, which respond to the hardships and reckonings afforded by the past year. The socially distanced, street view showcase is currently exhibiting at 1985 S. Victoria Ave. Ventura, CA 93003.

The registration fee to enter the online event is $15 for individuals or families. Additional donations are encouraged and can be made now through the event on our website at vcartscouncil.org/donate.

We will be offering unique items from the artists at various giving levels in recognition of your generosity, including a private tour of one of the artists’ studios, the opportunity to commission artwork from an artist, and artwork donated by the artists.
