THOUSAND OAKS — The Ventura County Fire Department, joined by community leaders and elected officials, will officially open Fire Station 34 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Guests are invited to tour the new facility following the ceremony.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting photo opportunity with fire officials and dignitaries. Guided tours of the station will start at approximately 11:00 a.m.

This state-of-the-art facility enhances our ability to serve the community with modern amenities and room for future growth.
Station 34 features two pull-through engine bays, seven dorms, two offices, a kitchen and dining area, a fitness room, a day room, four restrooms, and a storage building. It is home to Medic Engine 34 and Reserve Engine 134, staffed by a dedicated three-firefighter crew. The facility is also designed to support an additional engine company as service needs grow in Thousand Oaks.
