VENTURA COUNTY — Ventura County Community Development Corporation is proud to announce Jill Shaffer as a new addition to their team of professionals working to strengthen and sustain vibrant communities by empowering low to moderate income individuals and families to build wealth through education and homeownership. Jill joins VCCDC as their new Fund Development Director with over 35 years of non-profit leadership experience here in Ventura County.

Ms. Shaffer’s extensive background in leadership and fund development came through several non-profit organizations including the YMCA, the Ventura County Leadership Academy and Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County. She serves as a long-time member of the Ventura Downtown Lions Club and was recently honored with a prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship. She is a graduate of the Leadership Ventura, as well as the YMCA’s Executive Development Institute. Jill has an energetic leadership style and a unique ability to facilitate growth and interaction within a network of professionals. Her objective is to connect with community members who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life in Ventura County through education and homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals and families.
