VENTURA — United Way of Ventura County is pleased to announce the appointment of its 2025–2026 Board officers, effective July 1, 2025, continuing the organization’s longstanding tradition of collaborative, community-driven leadership.
The incoming Board Officers are:
- Chair: Tim Harrington – Real Estate Consultant
- Chair-elect: Stratis Perros – Environmental Services Director, City of Simi Valley
- Treasurer: Osmany Rios – VP/Commercial Banking Officer, Montecito Bank & Trust
- Secretary: Sierra Gutierrez – Eastern Regional Director, Premier America Credit Union
- Immediate Past Chair: Brad Whetten – VP/Center Manager, Citizens Business Bank
Returning for a second term are Jill Bray, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with Southern California Gas Company, Rachel Buchenroth, Plant Manager with Procter & Gamble, Jason Cheung, Ventura Business Manager with UPS Ventura Center, and Dr. Jeffrey A. Martin, Asst. Area Medical Director-Business Services/Affiliate Hospital, Woodland Hills/Ventura, Kaiser Permanente.
In addition to the returning board members, United Way proudly welcomes new member Dr. Regina Biddings-Muro, Vice President of University Advancement at California Lutheran University, to the board.

United Way’s volunteer Board of Directors includes community leaders representing fields of expertise including business, financial, legal, nonprofit sectors and healthcare.
United Way also extends its appreciation to Brad Whetten, VP Center Manager, Citizens Business Bank, who served as Chair through the 2024–2025 term, and to all outgoing members for their outstanding service and leadership – Dr. Lisa Buono, Dean, School of Professional & Continuing Studies, California Lutheran University, and Kathryn Stiles, Executive Director of Philanthropy, Adventist Health Simi Valley.
