After a rainy winter, folks are flocking to see California’s superblooms. But, experts say, smart management strategies will be required if we want to continue enjoying these spectacular events in the future.
“ESPIRITUTECTUAL” at the Art, Design & Architecture Museum features ceramic sculptures from the immigrant working class neighborhood where the artist grew up.
Prominent activists and scholars from across the country will gather for a keynote lecture and a panel discussion addressing bias, harassment and violence against Asian Americans.
The Carsey-Wolf Center screens the 2011 documentary shot throughout India, exploring the gray zone between copyright and culture in the midst of dramatic technological and economic change.
The multi-event showcase invites visitors to step inside galleries and studios, to watch preview performances and behind-the-scenes rehearsals, and to participate in other programming designed to highlight the artistic creativity and talent of the UCSB community.
