Triunfo Water & Sanitation District Taking Applications To Fill Board Vacancy

WESTLAKE VILLAGE —The Triunfo Water & Sanitation District (TWSD) is accepting applications from the public to fill a board vacancy created when Director Janna Orkney resigned on January 29. The appointed director will serve for the remainder of the current term, until December 2024. The deadline for application submissions is March 9 by 5:00 p.m.

To serve on the board, applicants must be registered voters residing within district boundaries. Duties include attending regular TWSD Board meetings held on the fourth Monday of the month at 5:15 p.m. at the district office in Westlake Village and the Joint Powers Authority meetings (with the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District) held on the first Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in Calabasas, plus any special meetings or events that may arise.
