VENTURA COUNTY — Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) continues its milestone “Year of Giving” with its 4th $75,000 donation in celebration of its 75th anniversary. The latest organization supported through this momentous giving campaign is the Ventura County Family Justice Center Foundation (VCFJCF) — the charitable arm of the Ventura County Family Justice Center (VCJFC) — who was presented with the check at the foundation’s annual Voices of Hope gala, held on May 29, 2025, at The Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Farms in Moorpark.

The gala brought together community leaders, supporters and advocates to reflect on a decade of impact through VCFJC’s Camp HOPE, the first evidence-based camping and mentoring program in the U.S. focused on children exposed to trauma.

“Ventura County Credit Union is proud to mark our 75th year by supporting Camp HOPE and the Family Justice Center Foundation,” said Linda Rossi, president and CEO of VCCU. “We believe in empowering brighter futures and this transformative program does exactly that for some of our community’s most vulnerable youth, helping to provide a pathway to healing, resilience and long-term success.”

VCCU’s donation will support the foundation’s continued efforts toward providing trauma-informed programs and critical wraparound services to individuals and families impacted by violence and abuse.

“This generous $75,000 gift from VCCU speaks volumes about their commitment to the people of Ventura County,” said Dianne McKay, Board Chair of the Ventura County Family Justice Center Foundation. “Their support will help us expand opportunities for healing and hope to even more children through Camp HOPE and the Pathways program.”
