TOArts Announces Phased Re-Opening with mix of virtual, outdoor, and in-theatre events

Upcoming events include live music, comedy, movies and more

THOUSAND OAKS — Thousand Oaks Arts (TOArts) Presents is back with a diverse lineup of entertainment for the community. With a mix of virtual, outdoor, and eventual in-person events, TOArts and the Bank of America Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) are excited to bring back safe and fun performances to the Conejo Valley.

TOArts Presents kicked off in May with “TOArts Scene at the Greens” at the Los Robles Greens golf course. Upcoming performances will include a trio from professional orchestra and Resident Company, New West Symphony, and comedian Craig Shoemaker. Tickets will be sold in pod seating to ensure social distancing and community safety.

Immediately following, June 11th– June 27th, The Pop-Up Arts and Music Festival will be performed at various parks around the Conejo Valley. The festival includes a mix of live music, movies and performances for the whole family to enjoy!

The 2nd Annual State of the Performing Arts will be taking place via Zoom on June 23rd for a celebration of the collective resilience of the arts in the community. Attendees will see performances from the TOArts family, including 5 Star Theatricals, Pacific Festival Ballet, Thousand Oaks Philharmonic, New West Symphony and the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra.

Starting in July, TOArts and BAPAC will present their first performances back at the Fred Kavli theatre with shows that will have something for everyone to love, including singer-pianist Melissa Manchester and musician Roger McGuinn.

“We are thrilled to be bringing back world-class entertainment to our community,” Jonathan Serret, TOArts Executive Director and BAPAC Director. “We look forward to welcoming guests back safely and continuing our mission of keeping the arts alive!”

Community safety is of the utmost importance for TOArts and BAPAC, and protocols will be in place to ensure patron and guest safety for each event.
