The Collection at RiverPark will host various events and activities for everyone
OXNARD — Hip, Hip, Hooray for Hot Summer Days! The Collection at RiverPark will be the location of various summertime events and family-friendly activities, including Kids Club, outdoor concerts and even a fan night for The Dallas Cowboys. These events are open to the community, and offer opportunities for residents to turn the coming months into a memorable summer.
Kids Club
The Summer Kids Club Series is underway, with lots of exciting activities still to come! The Beatbuds Experience will be on July 24th and “To the Rescue!” On August 7th featuring local Fire departments and Police Stations. All of the events run from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at Collection Park, so kids can channel their morning-time energy into creative activities and stimulating park games.
Oxnard Fan Night with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
All fans of Netflix docuseries: America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are called to the Collection at RiverPark on July 26th from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., where you can cheer for your favorite cheerleaders! The team will be performing along with the Cowboys Mascot: Rowdy, and rapper ZEALE of rap duo Blackillac. This is a free community event that will be filled with opportunities for photos, autographs, and will even feature trivia games, contests, giveaways and performances from local dance crews with The Alias Dance Family!
Rock the Collection
Ready to enjoy your summer nights with some summer tunes? Rock the Collection is a concert series that allows people to enjoy live rock and pop music in an outdoor setting. The concerts will be held at Collection Park, so be sure to bring blankets, lawn chairs and your best dance moves! Concerts will take place on August 15th, 29th, September 12th and 26th from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., and are presented by Dignity Health Medical Group – Ventura County and sponsored by Ventura County Credit Union and Visit Oxnard.
New shops at the Collection
Along with fun events and activities featured at The Collection, this summer brings a fresh wave of new businesses. Experience the excitement with new openings this year at lululemon, Club Pilates, The Good Feet Store and Mong Q Mongolian BBQ – now open and ready to serve you! These shops will continue to add variety to The Collection and to the community in Ventura County.
