NOCHE DE PELÍCULA

Noche de cine en el Teatro de las Américas. Presentaremos los dos cortometrajes realizados por los integrantes del Taller de Cine en 2023 y 2024.

Nuri es el nombre del primer corto, que es un drama que trata sobre una madre que después de 21 años regresa en busca de su hija que entregó en adopción al nacer.

El segundo corto llamado La Luz Universal, una comedia sobre una pandilla de vagos que fundan una religión tras la aparición de un ser extraordinario y extraterrestre.

Aparte, los asistentes a esta noche de cine, podrán apreciar avances del nuevo cortometraje en el cual estamos trabajando en el Taller de Cine llamado Nube Obscura, un “film noir” sobre un crimen ordenado desde el poder sobre una periodista. Este corto será proyectado ya terminado durante Nos Traen Cortitos, la muestra de cortos en español que se llevará a cabo en noviembre.

Apoya al talento local, conoce el trabajo de nuestro Taller de Cine y pásatela increíble en esta noche de cine.

Ambas películas son habladas en español y cuentan con subtítulos en inglés.

Duración del evento: 1 hora 20 minutos.

Entrada: $10.00

Las personas menores de 15 años deberán venir acompañadas de un adulto.

MOVIE NIGHT

Movie night at the Teatro de las Américas. We will present the two short films made by the members of the Film Workshop in 2023 and 2024.

Nuri is the name of the first short film, which is a drama about a mother who returns after 21 years in search of the daughter she gave up for adoption at birth.

The second short, called La Luz Universal, is a comedy about a gang of slackers who found a religion after the appearance of an extraordinary, extraterrestrial being.

In addition, those attending this movie night will be able to see previews of the new short film we are working on in the Film Workshop called Nube Obscura, a film noir about a journalist who is the victim of a crime ordered from above. This short film will be screened in its finished form during Nos Traen Cortitos, the Spanish-language short film showcase that will take place in November.

Support local talent, get to know the work of our Film Workshop and have a great time at this movie night.

Both films are spoken in Spanish and have English subtitles.

Duration of the event: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Admission: $10.00

People under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
