Storyteller Sacre to present bilingual program on March 5 in Santa Barbara

Storyteller Antonio Sacre will speak about “Imaginations Soar: Bringing Fables and Family to Life” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at the Santa Barbara Museum of National History, 2559 Puesta Del Sol, Santa Barbara, in the Fleischmann Auditorium.

Presented by the University of California, Santa Barbara Arts & Lectures, Sacre will weave Spanish and English into lively folk tales, myths and legends from around the world, with an emphasis on Latin American countries. Born in Boston to a Cuban father and an Irish-American mother, the charismatic storyteller and children’s book author draws from his mixed heritage to captivate young audiences with fascinating and funny tales, the university reported in a media release.
