Through May 3 — California Rural Legal Assistance to present free bilingual educational workshops in Oxnard

OXNARD — The California Rural Legal Assistance will present present free educational workshops in Oxnard.

Workshops are open to both students and parents in Spanish and translation to English or Mixteco can be made available upon request.

 

 

“Become An Educational Ambassador.” In this workshop series you will learn:

  • The latest laws in education
  • How to navigate the school system to access resources for yourself as a student, parent or concerned community member
  • About other issues in the community that impact the education received
  • How to apply this knowledge to your own life, at work, home or in school

When:

  • Session I, from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Wednesday from through March 8
  • Session II, from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Wednesday from March 22 through May 3

  • The local office of the California Rural Legal Assistance
  • 338 S. A Street, Oxnard, CA 93030

California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (CRLA): A nonprofit legal service program created to help California’s low-income individuals and communities. We represent all types of individuals and communities. We have offices from the Mexican border to Northern California.
