VENTURA COUNTY — New Year’s resolutions often include promises to ourselves to get in shape. The Southeast Ventura County YMCA, serving the Conejo and Simi Valleys, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Moorpark and Santa Rosa Valley, is offering a number of membership options through January to help keep those resolutions.
Full memberships are available at the Yarrow Family YMCA in Westlake Village and the Simi Valley Family YMCA. Membership includes access to all adult and youth fitness and cultural programs. Virtual and live outdoor class memberships are also available. They include unlimited participation in over 65 weekly virtual and outdoor, in-person physical fitness classes.
“The Y has adapted its programs as the coronavirus health guidelines have evolved,” says Ronnie Stone, President & CEO of the Y. “The online programs have proven to be very popular. We’ve found that participating in Y workout classes at home is preferable to some of our members rather than driving to a class at one of our locations. We see virtual classes as continuing to be a part of what the Y offers to the community as we move forward.”

Southeast Ventura County YMCA — As part of the community since 1964, the Southeast Ventura County YMCA is a nonprofit charitable organization. Its mission is to build relationships, impact lives and strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The three Southeast Ventura County YMCA branches are Yarrow Family YMCA (serving Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and Oak Park) Conejo Valley YMCA (serving Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Moorpark and the Santa Rosa Valley) and Simi Valley Family YMCA (serving Simi Valley).
