VENTURA — Dementia Friendly Ventura County’s next one-stop workshop to help people living with a dementia-related disease and their caregivers is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, at the Camarillo Health Care District.
The public is encouraged to stop by anytime during the “Living Well, Caring Well” event and meet with many local providers who can assist with dementia-related issues, including adult day centers, adult protective services, the Alzheimer’s Association, caregiver resources, financial resources, in-home care, health insurance counseling and advocacy, legal and advanced planning, long-term care ombudsman, neurology, and public benefit programs.
The September 6 workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Camarillo Health Care District, which is located at 3639 Las Posas Road, Suite 117.

VENTURA, California – El próximo taller integral de Amigable a la Demencia del Condado de Ventura para ayudar a las personas que viven con una enfermedad relacionada con la demencia y sus cuidadores está programado para el Miércoles 6 de Septiembre en el Camarillo Health Care District.
Se anima al público a pasar en cualquier momento durante el evento “Vivir bien, Cuidarse bien” y reunirse con muchos proveedores locales que le pueden ayudar con problemas relacionados con la demencia, incluidos centros de día para adultos, servicios de protección para adultos, la Asociación de Alzheimer, recursos para cuidadores, recursos financieros, atención en el hogar, asesoramiento y apoyo en el seguro de salud, planificación legal y avanzada, apoyo de atención a largo plazo, neurología, y programas de beneficio público.
