Through Nov. 2 — Acuna Art Collective presents ‘Clay Coming to Life’ exhibit

OXNARD — A historic arts exhibition is taking place at the Acuna Arts Collective in the old Social Security Office 425 So. B St., Oxnard. This world class art exhibition, “Clay come to Life,” feature sthree world renowned local artist Jacquie Biaggi, Lynn Creighton, and Janet Neuwalder.

The closing reception will be held on November 2, 2018.  A special art and poetry/spoken word event is scheduled for October 21, 5-8 PM, that will feature nationally renowned poets Marsha de la O and Phil Taggart.  Gallery hours are Thursday-Sunday, from 5-8PM.

According to the joint statement by the artist, ” The clay is the messenger. Each artist in her own way has learned to interpret the results of the movement of the clay in her hands. Love and trust of the clay requires that each artist await the results of the interaction with the clay leading the way”

Jacquie, Lynn and Janet are master American artist and are at their apex of creative artistic genius.The Acuna Arts Collective is proud to partner with the city of Oxnard’s Arts in Public Places as the sponsors of the historic art exhibition. We encourage the entire Oxnard and Ventura County communities to come and support this great arts and cultural event.
