CENTRAL COAST — Planned Parenthood California Central Coast (PPCCC) is excited to announce that their annual Booksale is back! The ten-day 47th annual Mary Jane McCord Book Sale will take place through September 26, 2021. The sale of carefully curated books is the largest in the Tri-Counties, offering 100,000 used books, spanning 50 categories from current best sellers to antiquarian treasures. The sale will be held at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in the Exhibit Hall (the main, large, round building), located at Las Positas Road and Highway 101.
This annual book sale is known for its quality, selection, great prices, and organization. There are books for every reader, collector, and dealer, with more books restocked daily. Categories include but are not limited to: cookbooks, science fiction and fantasy, mysteries, recent and best sellers, coffee table/gift books, children’s books. There also will be CDs, vinyl albums, DVDs, and travel guides.
On Thursday, September 16th from 4pm – 9pm, the event will kick off with a special opening night preview sale. For a $25 admission fee, attendees will enjoy first choice on tens of thousands of titles along with music and a fun raffle. The ten-day sale will run from September 16th – 26th. Parking is free. Admission is free from the 17th onward, after the opening night sale.
