From the muscle cars of the ’60s and ’70s, to vintage Model A Fords — Santa Paula celebrated in style when it held its first “Cruise Night” of the season on Friday, April 6 throughout downtown Main Street.
From 10th Street to the east to in front of the Santa Paula Theater Center to the west on Seventh Street, the whole downtown area was blocked off as dozens upon dozens of classic cars (pre-1975) first cruised down and then parked along the streets and hundreds of people walked around, snapped photos and recalled the cruising days of their youth.
The next event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4. Free. Call 805-525-4474 or 805-933-4226 or visit www.santapaulapoa.org/cruisenight.htm for more information.
