The holiday season has officially arrived at the Santa Paula Art Museum! We’ve been busy decking the halls of both Museum buildings in advance of all of our holiday-themed events and classes. First up was last weekend’s Free Family Day during which guests repurposed common materials to make holiday crafts like cards, ornaments and paper chains. Teaching artist Kathleen Kaller’s suminigashi painted wrapping papers class was a huge hit with adult students on Wednesday night. And now we’re eagerly awaiting Champagne and Shopping on Sunday, December 8, and our holly jolly Crafty Creations class on Thursday, December 12!

Oh, what fun it is to shop, especially during Champagne and Shopping at the Santa Paula Art Museum on Sunday, December 8! Sip champagne, mimosas and hot chocolate as you shop for unique gifts from the Museum’s gift shop and 25 local artist vendors including original art, bags, apparel, jewelry, home decor, cards, pottery, nuts, jams, chocolates and more. Admission is free and all are welcome.
Participating artists/vendors will include Noel Adams Ceramics, Carey Appel, Karen Scott Browdy, Leslie Clark, Shannon Celia, Cocoa Rome Chocolate Company, Corky’s Nuts, Easy Breezy Creations, Eul Hurley, Lisa Skyheart Marshall, Gina Niebergall, Jalada Jewelry, Kathi Clower Jewelry, Little Apple Kitchen, LuLaRoe Apparel, Nate Pidduck Pottery, Anette Power, Carol Roullard, Pointsettias from Santa Paula High School FFA, Joan Sharron, Silk Roads Design, Barbara Spandrio Bags, Carol Shaw Sutton, Mina Wilcox, and Karen Winters.
